❝Welcome to the Teacher's Council--a place for Travelers to learn and help others learn about their new abilities!❞ ❧ The Council What is the Teacher's Council? Exactly what it says on the tin. It's a group created by Travelers, for Travelers, curious and willing to learn about the powers given to them by the Asgard gods. While the Council takes steps to prepare the members for Ragnarok, the war they will witness firsthand, not all the members learn to fight, but to protect. Welcome, welcome. No need to be shy. Everyone has to start somewhere, right? ❧ The Members Who can get involved in the Teacher's Council? Anyone! Whether you're a volunteer willing to guide another Traveler through the steps, or a student with no idea where to start, this is the place for you! It's a great way to meet more people in the city; members are free to contact both Teachers and other students for practice sessions outside of the regular meetings. ❧ The Meetings The practical lessons for abilities are held every two weeks (every month in ooc time) in a rented practice room in the Thor district's Arena. The meetings exist to facilitate connections between the city's Travelers, giving them chances to learn off each other's experiences and use their powers in new and helpful ways. ❧ The Discussions While the practical aspect of the lessons are important, the Teacher's Council can also serve as a hub for discussion on the abilities as well. In addition to the meetings and the message board for finding practice partners, the Teacher's Council is also home to a newly created "written log" of successful (and unsuccessful) experiments with the different powers. Both Council members and non-members are welcome to contribute to this log, as it's intended to serve as a guide for those unable/unwilling to attend the meetings. ❧ Contact Though the Council was created through the efforts of several Travelers, the one currently "in charge" of the organisation is Merlin (dragonspeak).
